Meet Dominic
Dominic Starkweather is a 22-year old race car driver from Cave Creek, AZ who is competing in his fourth season of world-class professional racing, now in the 2024 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series and Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Dominic’s rise to a world-class level of professional sports car racing has come fast, but the seeds were planted at an early age when he received a dirt bike for his 10th birthday. He quickly fell in love with speed and his passion for motorsports grew.
Dominic then started building go karts and his dream of being a professional driver was born. Dominic’s first racing experience came as a passenger in his dad’s track car. He soon started driving after that. He then attended Spring Mountain Driving School twice. He started his amateur career racing career in SCCA where he soon began winning races; lots of them. Dominic soon proved to be a
championship-caliber driver, winning the 2020 SCCA US Major Tour Western Conference & SCCA Cal Club titles.
His professional career took off in 2021 where he won his pro debut in SRO GT America. In 2023 he broke into IMSA and took home a podium in his first Lamborghini Super Trofeo Race. He made his IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge debut at this year’s weekend of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. Off track, Dominic has invested countless service hours in his community and has led two service trips
to Mexico to build houses for the homeless. He also works closely with organizations like St. Vincent DePaul and St. Judes Children Hospital. Dominic works with a physical trainer to keep him in the best physical and mental shape possible for all to come.
